It takes a certain type of person to climb the ladder in the transportation industry. Not everyone is ambitious and while many complain about the industry few do anything about it. I have known Philip Fletcher for a decade or more and always found him to be fair and upstanding in all the interactions over the years.
He has now become the President of the Truck Training School Association of Ontario (TTSAO) after many years as part of a training facility and board member of the organization. Fletcher was driven back in his days behind the wheel as he rolled down the road thinking of how he can make the industry better based on his experiences.
He has worked towards that goal in many ways by being a part of different organizations, helping out when he could, and taking on different roles for experience. In the TTSAO alone Fletcher has held the role of Treasurer, Vice Chairman, and now President. He won the Volunteer of the Year Award for the organization back in 2019 and has always been active in the organization.
Philip Fletcher now begins his term as President of the TTSAO. This was a big step as he had to take the role on as a full time job leaving the training facility world that he loved. He is driven to make sure the TTSAO succeeds and is recognized as an organization with merit and stature. You can learn more about Philip Fletcher in the short video below.
As mentioned Philip Fletcher was thinking of how to change the industry back in his time as a driver behind the wheel. He doesn’t take the position lightly and we will all be watching on the progress being made. Good luck Philip, we wish you luck as you change the world of transportation.
