TTSAO Carrier Group Hosts Recruiting and Retention Meeting

April 19th, 2021 – Hamilton, ON – The TTSAO Carrier Group is excited to announce that they will be hosting a virtual meeting for carrier members and anyone in the industry who wants, and is interested, to attend on May 13th from 11 am – 12 noon. The meeting theme and focus will be Team Building as it relates to recruiting and retention in the transportation industry.

The guest speaker will be Glenn Caldwell, Vice President of Corporate Development at Healthy Trucker/NAL Insurance Inc. Glenn has spent his lifetime in the trucking industry and has been involved with programs that help with the recognition of the professional driver which enhances driver recruitment and retention in trucking companies. Glenn is a well know industry speaker and the Carrier Group is excited to have him at this meeting.

Gerald Carroll, Chairman of the TTSAO Carrier Group, says “Recruiting is tough enough but the true challenge is keeping the driver in their seat. Sign up and learn retention tips that will set you apart from the competition.”

During the virtual event carriers who are involved with the TTSAO will also discuss the value of participating and being a TTSAO carrier group member.

Kim Richardson, President of TTSAO, commented “Carriers who are members of TTSAO represent over 10,000 drivers in the Province and we continue to increase our carrier membership. Not only are the TTSAO schools an excellent resource for carriers to recruit drivers but the educational value the association is bringing to the members of the carrier group through their meetings and networking is appreciated by all carriers”.

In addition to the presentation by Glenn Caldwell, Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) will also provide an update on what they are doing in Canada. You do not want to miss this.
