Wishing you and your family a safe and Happy Christmas
All the Best for 2022 from the TTSAO

Happy Holidays

Here we are, just a few days before Christmas and wondering what is ahead. It’s been an interesting couple of years at the TTSAO (Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario). We’ve managed to get our last in person conference in just when the pandemic started at the beginning of 2020. Who knew that would be our last time seeing each other for a long while? If you want to see what happened at the conference in 2020 the team at The Lead Pedal Podcast did a recap of the event as the official media sponsor, you can listen to that episode here https://theleadpedalpodcast.com/lp455-a-look-at-the-ttsao-5th-annual-conference or you can read about the individual presentations through the archives https://uke.yyg.mybluehost.me/website_bf2bfdb2/category/ttsao-conference-information/page/2/

The Conference Committee for TTSAO had planned a virtual conference for 2021 but with too many changes to regulations and dates decided to bypass the 2021 event and gear up for a solid 2022 conference. Conference Chair Gerald Carroll outlines what will be coming up for the 2022 event.

The conference in 2022 is going to be important for many training schools to help them get business started again and that’s why we have a presentation on social media from two of the media experts in trucking Chris Harris (a.k.a Safety Dawg) and Bruce Outridge from The Lead Pedal Podcast for Truck Drivers on tips to help you with your social media programming. Bruce has been helping the TTSAO get their social media back in check since the beginning of 2021.

There have been a number of changes within the TTSAO which we will outline for you next time, but this is a great time to help someone get ready for next year. There are many jobs in transportation needed and there is more funding than ever for training. So why not give someone the gift of a new start for 2022 by helping them with some new training for a new career. The best place to start is with a TTSAO School near you, you can find the list of schools here. https://uke.yyg.mybluehost.me/website_bf2bfdb2/accredited-schools/

Let us finish by saying Happy Holidays from the TTSAO and all the best for 2022, learn more about the 6th annual conference here
